This 4th batch is 2nd batch I divided into 2 single gallon sun tea jars, with enough scoby to make another gallon. With 1st 2 batches, I made Divine Grape, using a tablespoon each of frozen grape juice concentrate in my flip top 16 ounce bottles. I wrapped them in heating pad for constant temperature and took about 2 days for bubbles. Delicious! Last batch I used pineapple frozen concentrate and a few chopped fresh rasberries. Turned out wonderful.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03137977695418282916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2283710810629495927.post-37304687009337432702012-02-07T22:10:08.218-06:002012-02-07T22:10:08.218-06:00Great post! Is that not needed? Or what do you think about that? I think it is for added iron - but I could be making that up. :) I was about to ask more questions but I think your next post may answer those so I'll wait. :)simple4sweetshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06670365169676928233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2283710810629495927.post-75336001309803972152012-02-02T15:27:30.363-06:002012-02-02T15:27:30.363-06:00It usually takes several brewings for a baby to be...It usually takes several brewings for a baby to be made. The mother SCOBY can be used indefinitely and will continue producing offspring. We've been brewing since the fall and our baby just finally detached from the mother this past week. You'll start to see the mother producing what looks just like another layer. As you continue brewing over the months it will continue to enlarge until it detaches from the original SCOBY. Then that's your baby!Amanda @ NourishtoFlourishblog.blogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09081968981987343518noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2283710810629495927.post-83296509774572237612012-02-02T15:24:39.648-06:002012-02-02T15:24:39.648-06:00I made this almost two weeks ago but my mother sco...I made this almost two weeks ago but my mother scoby did not make a baby.
